Casey Johnston, LMFT
Independent Contractor
“When you change your mind, you change your life.” This is a beautiful quote that I heard many years ago and it stuck with me. My name is Casey Ann Johnston and I recently graduated from Mount Mercy University with a master’s degree in Marriage & Family Therapy. I live in Fairfield with my husband and three children. I am excited to start this new adventure in helping others achieve their goals. I look forward to working with all populations and cultures. My passion is helping others learn congruent communication, behavior modification, and understanding themselves. I love learning about the human brain and body, and how the mind-body connection impacts who we are. My theoretical orientation is assessing problematic issues through a systemic lens and working in collaboration with clients by utilizing client’s resources, strengths, and problem-solving skills. Some special interests of mine include childhood trauma, family conflict, parenting skills, sexual abuse, anxiety, and depression.
