About R & R Counseling Solutions: At R & R Counseling Solutions, we are dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate mental health care to our rural communities. We are currently expanding our services in Keosauqua and Fairfield, Iowa, and are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team. This position is supported by the Iowa Healthy Hometowns grant, offering an unprecedented opportunity for a provider looking to make a lasting impact in a rural setting while receiving exceptional financial support.
Position Overview: We are seeking a full-time PMHNP to provide expert medication management and psychiatric care across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. The ideal candidate will be relocating from a non-rural area to serve our high-need communities, committing to a five-year tenure with our practice.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments for patients of all ages.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, focusing on evidence-based medication management.
• Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans and medications as necessary.
• Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team of therapists and counselors to ensure holistic patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records.
Qualifications:
• Active, unencumbered license as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) in the State of Iowa (or eligible for licensure).
• Board Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
• Must be relocating from a non-rural area to qualify for the Healthy Hometowns grant incentives.
• Strong clinical skills in medication management across the lifespan (children to seniors).
• Commitment to providing full-time, in-person care for a minimum of five years.
Compensation & Benefits:
• Competitive Base Salary: $100,000 to $150,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
