Casey Johnston, TMFT
Temporary Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist
“When you change your mind, you change your life.” This is a beautiful quote that I heard many years ago and it stuck with me. My name is Casey Ann Johnston and I recently graduated from Mount Mercy University with a master’s degree in Marriage & Family Therapy. I live in Fairfield with my husband and three children. I am excited to start this new adventure in helping others achieve their goals. I look forward to working with all populations and cultures. My passion is helping others learn congruent communication, behavior modification, and understanding themselves. I love learning about the human brain and body, and how the mind-body connection impacts who we are. My theoretical orientation is assessing problematic issues through a systemic lens and working in collaboration with clients by utilizing client’s resources,
strengths, and problem-solving skills. Some special interests of mine include childhood trauma, family conflict, parenting skills, sexual abuse, anxiety, and depression. Casey is currently working towards full licensure under the supervision of Phillip Davis, LMHC, NCC.
